Marc Thorpe Design Masterminds the Classic Car Club’s Manhattan Digs

It may be called the Hayloft, and have an equine-inspired mural, but the lounge at the definitely does not resemble its former life as stables for the New York Police Department. That’s thanks to , which masterminded the membership club’s new 40,000-square-foot headquarters at Pier 76 in the Maritime Entertainment District. Among highlights are a retina-widening orange entry, a terrace overlooking the Hudson River, and naturally an automotive showroom, where members can hop in a new Tesla or a 1966 Mustang convertible and hit the road.
