Just north of Tel Aviv, Herzliya is best known for its beautiful coastline and booming tech sector, which makes it the perfect spot for debut property in the area, the .
The 159-room hotel includes a stage for music and theatrical events, a lobby lounge, an extensive fitness center, and shared co-working spaces, all designed by with a focus on custom pieces and art objects sourced from around the world.
“We composed it like puzzle,” Oberson says, “in which some parts do not necessarily fit, but this connection produces a feeling of eclecticism.”
Oberson’s favorite detail? The striking buffet bar in the restaurant, made of natural iron and green zellige tile. “I love that it is a combination of a practical item used to serve and cool food products, but it looks like a vintage piece that feels like it has always been there.”
The concept hotel also includes the City Club, open to guests and local residents, which Oberson describes as “a community for which the working environment is also an environment of leisure.” It’s the perfect place for visitors to have a cocktail and chat before retiring upstairs to the rooftop pool to survey all that the city has to offer.
