High Point Preview: Bert Frank for Decca Home

The spring trade show season roars to life next month with , the nation’s preeminent furnishings show for the residential set. And though it’s still weeks before the hoopla begins, we’ve already spotted a winner.

, the British lighting brand founded in 2013 by designer Robbie Llewellyn and metalworker Adam Yeats, teams with  for the launch of The London Collection, a 15-piece series of case goods, occasional furniture, and upholstery that taps design codes of the industrial era while also nodding to midcentury and Art Deco sensibilities.

“Like the texture and dimension found in a fine wool rug, or the subtle color and geometric lines in a modern oil painting, I hope each piece draws an emotional response,” says Llewellyn.

Following an enthusiastic response to the test-preview of five prototypes earlier this year in Paris during Maison et Objet, the official rollout takes place on April 14 at Decca Home’s showroom at 311 North Hamilton Street.
