BuzziSpace’s New BuzziPleat by 13&9 Offers Top-Notch Acoustics

Bringing traditional hand-pleating into the 21st century, partners Martin Lesjak and Anastasia Su are introducing BuzziPleat, a multipurpose sound-absorbing element for . The company’s BuzziFelt, made from upcycled plastic bottles, is folded in multiple formations to maximize surface area, resulting in superior acoustical performance. Mount BuzziPleat on the wall, and you have a sculpture with an architectural edge. Add a LED bulb, and you have a pendant fixture. Choose from three patterns, a dozen colors, and three diameters: 32, 47, and 63 inches.
